Who We Are
Line Up is a consultancy business specialising in the sports, entertainment and media sectors.
Line Up was formed in 2010 by David McHugh and Maeve Buckley. In combining our talents, as well as our experience, commercial contacts and relationships, we have developed a compelling business proposition.
Line Up is based in Dublin, working throughout UK & Europe. We work directly with brands, governing bodies and rights holders, as well as on a project basis where relevant with other industry experts.

A former member of the Irish Olympic sailing squad, David also coaches sailing, rugby and hockey at club, provincial and international levels.
David has extensive experience of project management within the sport and leisure sector. He has developed and managed corporate events throughout Ireland and the UK. His key areas of expertise within Line-up are sponsorship and athlete representation. He also specialises in strategic consultancy for brands and National Governing Bodies, teams and individuals in the area of commercial rights.
David currently works with clients such as Nike, Optimum, VW, Audi, Horse Sport Ireland, HSBC and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council .

Maeve has extensive management experience within business development, marketing and strategy. Her key areas of expertise within the company are strategic consultancy and reviews, marketing communications, and large scale event planning and promotion. Maeve currently works with clients including Dublin City Council, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, Eurosportring, Failte Ireland and Calves Week 2011.
Maeve was previously CEO of Platinum One, a sports management consultancy of 35 people with offices in Ireland/UK and Spain up till December 2009, bringing the company to its highest ever profit in that year. Maeve joined the company in 2005 and delivered some of their most high profile clients and projects, including the FC Barcelona and Real Madrid pre-season training camps from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that she worked in a variety of international marketing management positions for Orange, Salvatore Ferragamo Sports, and Bord Bia. Maeve holds an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa in Spain, with a specialization in sports management. She also holds a 1st class honours business postgraduate from the Smurfit School of Business, UCD and a degree in Italian and German from UCC.[/team_member][/one_half_last]
